Remember this sweetie??

Our Story (sent with our wedding invitations)
We met each other four years ago, dated for a few months and separated. For the next years, we would remain close friends and allow our love to mature and grow. This past fall, we began to see each other more and within a few short months found ourselves yielding to the love that never faded. Richard was working for an acceptance to medical school and Tricia was looking for an engineering position somewhere close; both of our life’s goals hinted that a long term relationship would be difficult, and possibly out of the question. We discussed matters early and agreed to let things happen as they may. But with each passing week, our love flourished and soon became something that we both could not control. December approached and with January came a new year, and a decision to be made. The next months would come and pass slowly; each week seeding loneliness and anticipation as we waited for our weekends of love.
Tricia now worked at an engineering firm in Fort Worth with excellent pay, benefits, and wonderful co-workers; Richard was accepted to medical school in West Virginia and off to pursue his life dream. We both agreed that Tricia would work and Richard would go to medical school, and the love that we realized had always been there, would remain there until he returned to Texas some years later. Both of us denied our deeper feelings and put the other’s priorities first. For weeks we danced around each other, played with our options, and of course tested the waters of sacrifice; a juggling act of love, responsibility, and want that was in dire need of guidance. As May emerged we stopped looking towards each other for the answers, and turned to the Lord.
Tricia prayed for something other than Richard’s words, and Richard asked for the confidence to lead their life. Within days, the Lord answered and delivered. It started with a job offer for Tricia, next was the perfect apartment, then a ring, followed by the time, place, etc… With each progression, test and tribulation, the Lord delivered that which we had no control over. We have now put our complete faith in the Lord to direct us and show us His will; and this is where we have arrived. Surrendering to the love that was always there, heeding His greatness that guides us, and asking that you share with us this wonderful blessing that we wish to receive.
Richard is a physician deep at heart and Tricia an engineer without question, separate. But together, we have never been more Godly, more lively, or more ambitiously happy.
To end a chapter and start a new one in our love story we plan to marry on July 7, 2007 in the beautiful mountains of Angle Fire, New Mexico with a simple ceremony.
We would be honored if you would please join us on this special day, July 14, 2007 in spite of the short notice, for an additional ceremony to celebrate and share this wonderful time in our lives.

The Lord has brought us through a lot these past two years and I've enjoyed just about every minute of it! ;)
