Richard matched to the Emergency Residency Program here in Charleston, WV this morning! We are very excited about the 4 years to come and his training in a great department.
I have 12 weeks left of medical school, 8 weeks of family medicine and then 2 weeks left of radiology. hmm, 2 + 8 = 10, where are those other 2 weeks ? The answer to that question is...we're taking a 2 week vacation in the middle of March to go skiing in Angel Fire. Woo hoo! We're almost done with medical school as you can see by our countdown ticker on the right, and we'll be staying here in West Virginia to complete his post graduate medical education. I am very excited to be working as a physician, and being able to play in the beautiful back yard of west virginia; more importantly nonetheless, we're both excited to begin a new segment in our lives and are fervently awaiting to return to heaven on Earth, Texas!
Thank you Lord for steering me in the right direction and making sure that my wants don't interfere with your greater plan!
