I'm sorry that we haven't posted in a long, long time!
Paige is a very busy and strong willed little girl. She keeps us both on our toes. She is very opinionated and now has the words to tell you just what she wants. She also wants to do everything, and I mean EVERYthing by herself. Here she is getting in to trouble.
Could you resist that face?
Paige and I spent 3 weeks in Texas and really loved the time we got to spend with out families. We were happy to celebrate my sisters pregnancy and get to see her new house. Before we left, the weather began to change in WV and Richard couldn't resist getting some pie pumpkins. Paige of course wanted to help.
A little taste while Daddy's not looking
Then she understood to put the seeds in the bucket
The finished product was very YUMMY!
When we returned to WV, we began to settle in and recover from the travel and Paige's sniffles and slight cough. Richard finished his last bit of studying for his 3rd Board Exam. The night before his exam Paige woke us up with a horrible cough and barking crying. Doctor Daddy was immediately worried and jumped on the phone with follow ER docs. He decided to make it through the night and just go see our Pediatrician the next morning. Paige and I were up most of the night watching Elmo while Daddy slept. We made it through the Doctor with a diagnosis of croup, just as we expected. Richard called to check on us during his test breaks and was able to finish his exam. With a little steroids and tlc Paige is all better and we are back in the swing of things this week.
