We took Paige for her 1 month check up last Friday and she weighed in at 10 lbs 7oz. I was shocked! I expected her to be at least 9 and a half pounds but not 10. She has also grown an inch in the last two week. Her height is still in the 75th percentile but her weight was up to 90th. So that translates to me... chubby baby. I was concerned but both Dr and Daddy say that's good for a nursing baby. I'm sure as she becomes more active she'll burn off the extra weight.
We all did some shopping that afternoon and returned home for a peaceful evening, or so we thought. Paige did not get that message. Her little body was burning up most of the night. The weather was really warm that day plus she had her second Hep B shot at the doctor, so we figured it was a combination of the two. She didn't have a fever, but she was very uncomfortable all night. Her nose was also stopped up for a while so she had trouble sleeping. We took turns sleeping and by lunch time Saturday she was back to normal. We were glad to have made it through our first bad night. She slept really well Saturday night and we had no trouble getting up and ready for church on her first Easter Sunday. Paige did well through the worship service and fairly well during bible study. She was getting fussy so Richard took her out and wrapped her up. She absolutely loves being swaddled and that put her right back to sleep. That afternoon we tried to take some pictures but Paige was not very happy about it, but she did look adorable. Some of them turned out alright.
