We told Paige that Mammy was coming to see her waaaay too soon. So then we had to pull out her calendar so she would understand how many days away it was. At that point it was over 20 days.

And then Mammy Finally Arrived! She was so excited that the Apple Tree was having a great year.
She could not resist picking some for us.
They made an amazing apple pie!

Mammy came to WV to help me drive back to Texas for a visit and to sell the Jeep.

We knew we were coming up on a construction zone on I-40 that has been evolving for years. When we all started to go to one lane the traffic completely stopped! So we waited and waited and then after about 30 minutes Galye got out to go ask the UPS driver what was going on. She told us that a wreck had occurred right at the merge and we were stuck. We ended up waiting for over an hour and just ate dinner picnic style in the car.
We made it to the farm the next day at lunch time and met Pappy for lunch. Paige was learning how to shoot paper wads through a straw. She perfected it quickly.
